As a part of the World Water Day celebrations, the University of Zagreb Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering hosted Assoc. Prof. Gordon Gilja, head of RISED Laboratory, as a guest speaker. The selected lecture highlighted the innovative scour monitoring methodologies developed in our laboratory. It discussed how these techniques contribute to real-time data collection and analysis, providing crucial insights for the protection of hydraulic structures and enhancing the resilience of critical infrastructure to floods.
This event not only underscored the importance of advancing scientific research in hydraulic engineering but also emphasized the role of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing water-related challenges.
We are glad to support water related initiatives and are committed to promoting science and innovation as part of the global effort to safeguard our water resources.
