Connecting with Future Scientists: – GRADify Job Fair

GRADify, the first Job Fair at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering, took place on April 17, 2021. The goal of the event was to facilitate collaboration between students and employers. Due to the epidemiological measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held in an online format.

As part of the program, we introduced a collaborative position at a higher education and research institution within the Faculty. This provided an opportunity to showcase the daily operations involving the equipment in our RISED Laboratory. Through interview and discussions, students were able to learn more about our projects, equipment, and research opportunities in the area of scour, river dynamics, and sediment transport.

Events like these play a key role in inspiring the next generation to become a scientists. We are especially proud to have contributed to connecting academia and industry by promoting the advancement of science.
