4th IAHR Young Professionals Congress

At the 4th IAHR Young Water Professionals Congress, one of our talented young researchers from the RISED Laboratory presented an insightful study on the influence of hydraulic roughness on scour around bridge piers using the FLOW-3D numerical model.

The IAHR Young Professionals Congress is a platform designed for early-career researchers, young professionals, and students in the field of water engineering and research. It provides an excellent opportunity to share innovative ideas, present research findings, and engage with a global network of peers and potential mentors in hydro-environmental sciences.

We are proud to see our laboratory’s work contributing to such an inspiring event and look forward to more achievements from our team in advancing the understanding of scour processes and hydraulic modeling.
