9th Assembly of Croatian Builders

Our research group participated at the 9th Croatian Builders’ Assembly, organized by the Croatian Association of Civil Engineers (HSGI) in Cavtat from April 21–24, 2024. At the assembly, the importance of synergy between research and industry was once again highlighted by our RISED Laboratory research group. By addressing real-world challenges, this conference series fosters the development and application of innovative methods that advance practical engineering solutions through scientific approach.

• We presented two case studies showcasing the application of innovative approaches to tackle complex challenges in the field:
• Monitoring of riverbed stability in the vicinity of bridges
• Application of indirect methods for sediment transport measurements

Engaging in knowledge transfer events like this allows us to strengthen the connection between academia and industry, helping to translate innovative research into the real-world application and evaluate its impact.
